LG 14 Place Settings Wi-Fi Dishwasher Review

Always wanted to buy a dishwasher and due Myths I always ignored. Finally made a decision as my Mom always complained about shoulder pain and wife about her hands…,Pro -1. It is super easy to use.2. Dishes are super clean, always shining.3. Use of water is very low compared to hand wash.4. Detergent usage is very low tooo, we wash about 2 times in a day and it takes about 40g or less ( for 30 days we need about 1.5 kilo )**Remember – I spoke about Myth, I was always told that we need many things like salt, rinse aid and detergent. But on one tells you that many things are monthly or weekly.4.a – salt is once a month or may be more ( depends on the handness of water )4.b – rinse aid is needed weekly ( I have used it for a week and the indication is still not on ) my guess it will last for 4 to 6 cycles4.c – detergent is needed for every wash5. Wifi enables to inform the cycle time remaining even being outside ( there is an opportunity here )6. Ladies are very happy with this machine which is a huge plus ( Mum pain has reduced alot and wife has no pain )Opportunity : -1. Wifi is a let down, it does not do anything except providing info. Could have had option to start, pause and stop. But this is not a con.Con : None ( except you have to redo house water supply and outlet, mine had one for washing machine alone. )Important note : Before I bought this, everyone had one compain that power down would start the cycle from beginning. Still bought it keeping this risk. But machine suprised me, it did not start from beginning during power cut, it started from the point it stopped. Guess lucky bit will keep a watch on this and update my comment post 2 to 3 months.Thank you LG for a wonderful product and Amazon for one day delivery.. love ya both

Had to follow up a lot for installation. So much so that it even deserves negative rating. But after installation when it comes to usage this is one good machine. Loving it how you don’t have to be near the machine to see if it’s done washing, you’ll get a notification on your phone. Dishes comes out clean.

I purchased this dishwasher mainly for my mother, as we are living far from each other.I had searched for many dishwashers; I decided to go with “Bosch” as it is a global market leader in the Dishwasher. However, when I dug more about the “Bosch” dishwasher, I realized that “Bosch” doesn’t sell their high-end/premium dishwasher in India. Of course, that It might be their strategy that people in India may not invest much on the dishwasher.However, I believe the performance of the dishwasher improves if we go in the premium segment of the product.This product might be very hard on your wallet or budget. But, I didn’t find any other brand that was offering the “Steam” option and other feature this dishwasher has. So, I decided that let’s go with the feature reach product which can help my mother in any worst situation to deal with the soiled utensils.I have used this product for 2-3 times, and I say that its performance is excellent. For your reference, I attached an image of “Chimney Filter.”. For anybody who deals with the chimney filter, then they can understand that sometimes it becomes challenging to make it clean.However, considering the situation. We washed the filter in the “Intensive” washing cycle (which uses steam option), and it has delivered the result very impressively.I hope if anyone buys they will get a similar result which I did.However, I would recommend the following points before you proceeding with your first washing cycle.1) Please measure the hardness of your area water and accordingly set the level in the dishwasher (as per user guide). <- Very critical point.2) Always, go with good “Rinse” and “Washing Powder/ Liquid.” The washing performance will depend on this. <- Important Point.3) Purpose of Rinse: Remove the watermark during the drying, add shine in the utensils. So, according to the water quality, please set the level of the Rinse to be utilized in your washing cycle.I hope the review does answer your doubt/internal question. Very good cleaning in short duration cleaning also. Less noise.
