The purchase/delivery experience:1. Went very smoothly got delivered in a day in specified time window.2. Very well packed, delivered safely.Product:+ves:1. Beautiful. Like the glass finish on the top.2. A little bit on bigger side but I like it.3. Doesn’t feel flimsy at all, looks very sturdy.4. Went for this for the brand, features (5 star 2020, twin cool inverter, copper condenser, wifi enabled), warranty (10 year compressor, 5 year PCB), Air filter.5. Made in India.-ves:1. One feature I missed is “only vertical oscillation controllable through the remote” I wish horizontal oscillation also can be controllable!2. Not serious one but Outside unit backside is exposed -there is no protective grill panel (saw few other brand ACs also come this way).Installation:1. Panasonic called me back for installation appointment after the product delivery. Also got SMSs related to installation.2. I was not available the next day so asked them to call me the day after.3. When I didn’t receive the call I called them up and asked then if they can install today.4. Panasonic technician showed up in couple of hours (not an outside contractor).5. Had to pay 850 for Panasonic branded stand and they charged only 699 for installation as Amazon promised.6. Installation guys were very professional (no bargaining selling other not needed stuff etc). Also worked efficiently.7. For some reason the product didn’t include the wire to connect it to the power point! It seems it will cost app 100 per meter but I used one I had (plug also).8. Had to install Panasonic MirAIe app to use wifi feature (the guy helped me with that). He did go through all AC features too (demo).2020/03/14 update:Don’t try to remove that 24° sticker in the front. It’s made up of paper and will leave the gunk. Warm soap water couldn’t get it off! After some research used rubbing alcohol to clean it up.

No issues with delivery, arrived at scheduled time and had no damage. The AC body is plastic and the louver has some artifacts from the injection moulding procees, but it’s a non issue and not visible from 2 feet away.Outdoor unit doesn’t have protective mesh at the back like other ACs but to be honest the ones that have them (General for example) are made of flimsy plastic and doesn’t help prevent the condenser fins from folding if someone accidentally presses against it.Installation was free i.e. 1500 off (check if the offer is still on). Stand costs 1000 bucks and the AC doesn’t come with a 3 core wire to plug into your wall outlet. In retrospect, buying the stand, 3 core wire and 20A metal clad plug separately can save you a few bucks if you’re into that kind of thing. Check the Panasonic website before crying foul about hidden charges.People complaining about installation seem to forget they live in India, so get out of your bubble. No IIT graduate is coming in to fix your AC. I was asked to pick up tools while the service personnel were working. Not that I mind it, I quite enjoy being part of the process, but it’s not for everyone. The AC takes some time to break in, half an hour or so for the refrigerant to circulate I’d assume. After that it’s a trip to the Himalayas if you’ve chosen the right tonnage for your room. I keep the temp at 27 in Chennai, maybe 23 with my blanket on (let’s get real, this is the actual use case). Noise levels are acceptable.Remote is cute, tiny thing even lights up!Note that the phosphor glow in the dark thingamabob is only infused into the temp up and down buttons and it probably needs to be close to venus for it charge up, so don’t depend on it.Press and hold the “Smart” button for about 5 seconds until you hear a beep, the WiFi is now on.Use the Mirai app to connect to it. I use it with Google Home and you only see a switch to turn it on or off. Strangely, voice commands such as “Set the temperature to 24 degrees” seem to work anyway, so looks like the GUI just lacks a slider. Remember to use the voice command “Turn on the AC” first then issue temperature commands. Don’t know of Alexa behaves the same. The Mirai app in itself is great, but who uses the OEM apps in their smart home?Overall a great AC, I feel they didn’t cut corners where it matters. Sanyo for example sell their 5 star variant for cheaper but doesn’t have stabilizer free operation.Final note:The government need to get vinyl stickers man…that 24 degree sticker triggers my OCD and I’m afraid I’ll leave paper residue if I remove it.

quite good, I am just started to use , but compare to my other AC unit, very silent .
