Mi Air Purifier 3 Design:
At first glance, the Mi Air Purifier 3 appears pretty straightforward. A matte white finish covers the surface of this rounded box, which measures 52 inches tall and 24 inches wide. It’s not meant to stand out in your home, but rather to blend in, which it does quite well. The Mi Air Purifier 3 has an array of perforations only on three of its four sides, unlike other air purifiers that have grills either on the front or back. There is an easy-to-remove panel on the rear that allows access to the filter assembly. The purifier’s top has a grill that serves as an outlet for purified air. The Mi Air Purifier 3 is actually one of the more accessible options I have come across when it comes to changing air filters. It lacks any colour option other than white and has no handle for carrying. Dust is more likely to discolor it since it is mostly going to sit in one place circulating air.
There are no physical buttons on the purifier to interact with it. Rather than cluttering the screen, a single touch-sensitive OLED panel is used. Within 45 minutes of running the air purifier, the ambient air quality index reached 60-70 PM2.5. When compared with the 250+ levels without the purifier, this is still a vast improvement. The smell of pollution is completely absent after a quick sniff test.
A centrifugal fan is also included with the Mi Air Purifier 3. About 380 cubic meters of clean air are delivered per hour, according to Xiaomi. Compared to the previous model, which had a 310 cubic meter per hour rating, this is a significant improvement.
