Hi,Problems I had with this purifier,1. With a lot of pain does it bring down pm 2.5 under 10micrograms. You have to keep it at +5 levels to get pm 2.5 under 10. If your fan speed is below 5 the purifier fails to keep the pm 2.5 under control instead pm levels increase a bit. Purifier at low speeds, anything below 5 is really weak makes me think why did they bother giving it speeds below 5, below 5 it is completely useless. Being a 45k device, this makes me furious.2. After long, continuous usage (+8 hours) my unit started emitting a smell similar to that of alcohol. I have been living with an alcoholic father for 22 years. So I am highly sensitive to alcohol smell. The smell was faint at first. Then after you use it for a while it becomes noticeable. Also during pollution you don’t really open the windows hence more noticeable. The smell is irritating, so much so that you have to shut the purifier after every 8 hours usage.3. The tower model is too big like it’s waiting to be toppled over. If you have kids and pets. Buy the desk model instead.4. The dyson link app is a PAIN to connect to if you don’t have a wifi connection. Why could they not let me connect to my purifier directly via mobile data? I am sorry but not everyone has a wifi nor do everyone find a wifi useful.5. You can attach your remote to the top of the purifier as it has a magnet. What can I say about it. It looks so lame.6. It’s air monitor system is based on US AQI and not on the National AQI. This one is a real negative. As you cannot compare US air pollution to that of Indian :(7. Charger Pins. The pins of the charger are weird. They’re smaller than the average pins on any random charger. It becomes a little difficult to get it into the socket and the position of the pins on the charger is also wrong, have to check every now n then just to make sure that the charger doesn’t fall off since the pins are small.8. The seller did not send me a bill of the product. When I contacted Amazon CS they told me that it doesn’t matter since I have a digital record @Amazon. Still something you should be aware about.So I have returned this unit but I am still going to buy the Dyson desk model. I think even after all these negatives, Dyson is still better than the rest of the market products. The future model would be a better buy. If you can wait. Then wait it out.These products are not pocket friendly at all but I think your life is worth alot more than a mere 45k.Welcome.

Let me start by telling you that it’s not cheap but I guess the technology involved would require that investment.The product looks, feels very fGood. Easy to install yourself, easy to operate via remote or dyson link app. Shows you all pm2.5, pm10, vocs, no2 pullants in your house. Shows you indoor and outdoor AQI. Keep a trend for a week.How does purifier work?So far so good. The bladeless fan system is amazing where it produces air and circulates across the room. The oscillation feature is unique where it rotates upto 350 degree and purifies. Uses Polar technology to purify upto 600 sq ft so so Dyson claims. Come with Hepa and Carbon filters hence I assume would be best in purifying air in an Indian home.Overall, I would come back to edit my review after a month use.

After around a months use, we found this product just about okay. But it is over priced and overhyped. I guess products from brands like Philips and Honeywell might be more value for money options. App doesn’t connect with the purifier and this is a very frequent problem.

1) You can’t survive with all windows and doors closed2) Takes 60 to 150 minutes to remove the agarbatti smoke in the closed room 14×143) Good that it instantly identifies and informs the pollution levels4) Better than any other budget air purifier5) Good if Dyson comes in a form factor close to split AC (can bring outside air in a controlled manner and also does not occupy floor-area)6) Display should be able to predict the time to clean the air from the current 300 to say 20 ppm2.5

Dyson Air purifier is simply awesome ,, used it for whole night and realised that I was able to breathe deeply and easily ,, and the ability to see real time values of PM2.5 and PM10 makes it even more interesting. Best part was that my son who has been sneezing for months the moment he wakes up in the morning , did not sneeze at all after using this. The product is pricey but it’s worth every penny and worth investing . Using the product also was v easy as the demo given by Dyson’s representative Mr Anish Mishra was really good . He explained everything clearly and professionally. Overall very good experience with dyson product and their team.EditAfter using it for almost a month now , I can proudly say that I don’t regret my purchase ,, this Aur purifier is working so good and the whole experience of accessing the device through mobile app is so smooth and seamless .Proud and happy owner 🙂
