No quiet operation-after switch off, feels good on ear, as the noise pollution is too high while it is on. 15 amp plug is according to the wattage rating of the heater, which is good. Heating is okay. Can’t be operated in vertical position.

1. BUILT QUALITY: Hard Plastic. Seems flimsy, but is strong enough. The Button Printing/Markings however erased within few days of usage.2. WEIGHT: Light3. NOISE: Minimal. Remains the Same for Low & High heat settings.4. WIRE: Good Quality, length is just about Ok. Plug is for 16AMP sockets.5. FAN option can be used in the summers by some.DEFINITE CONS:1. GIMICKY KNOB: The 2nd Knob, Marked +/- doesn’t seem to work. It doesn’t seem to +/- the Heat settings, nor does it do anything regarding Fan Speed.2. NO STAND/LOUVRE to alter the direction of Heat flow; Competing Models have it.3. PRICE: ‘Local’ Made in India very similar products are available in brick-n-mortar shops for HALF the Price. Warranty is same.

Apart from the negative reviews, i purchased this product because of the brand name. And writing this review after 10 days of using. This product is very useful, makes room comfortable even in 8℃, suggested for a hall size of 10×8.The only thing you have to take care about is that it should be plugged into the right socket of 16A rating as it consumes high current as per its heat rating. It is making a bit noise when operated for more than 4-5 hrs which is not preferable. You can go for it, just take care about the instructions for usage.Thank Bajaj.

Update after 1 year(22/01/2022): Still works like it would on day one(Although, I used it only during Nov end-early Feb during 2021 and the same in 2022 now). Seems like a durable product for long term use. Definitely worth the premium.Original review(04/01/2021):Writing this review after a month of using the product. After searching for a lot of heaters online, I settled on this one even though it was expensive as compared to others(I bought it at 2,350), because I wanted a reliable & sturdy product.Coming from Bajaj, I knew it would be a great product. The heating capability is quite good. It has different modes: fan, level one heat & level two heat (adjusted using the knob on the right)The heating seems sufficient for me on the level one setting itself as the temperatures here in Mumbai winters are only around 17-20°C at minimum. It heats up a ~10×12 room within 10-15mins I suppose.I know Mumbai is not that cold in winters but I bought it to keep my star tortoise 🐢 warm during the winters :)The cable also seems to be sturdy and if you keep the heater on ground, the plug would reach upto a height of 5 feet. Another thing to keep in mind is that the plug needs a bigger 16Amps socket as you can see in the last image upload by me (the one on the left) as compared to the normal socket (on the right)And lastly, the only drawback that I found in the particular product that I received was that the fan speed adjustment knob (left knob) doesn’t actually increase or decrease the speed (thus, the 4/5 star rating). It just works as off or at full speed kind of like an on-off switch. But that doesn’t bother me much as most of us would rather use the fan at full speed only, considering its size.Overall, a good and reliable product. And trust me, even thought it seems expensive, this would work for a long time compared to those Orpat heaters at 1k(read their reviews and saw that they stopped working for some people after ~20days, hence I bought this one)

TL; DR: Quick and safe heating during winters, Requires 16 Amp Socket, Personal fan for summer, Either keep it standing or horizontal, Heats entire 10×10 room in 10 minutes. Do not block the warm air coming from the fan by sitting or placing any object near it.I bought this Bajaj convection fan heater last year and used it for chilly winter nights only. It’s relatively safe compared to quartz or halogen heaters but slightly expensive operating cost as it not only heats the people who are near it but the entire room.👍🏼 Build Quality: It’s plastic but the body doesn’t heat up even when it is on for few hours. It’s got an easy to lift handle at the back on the flipside.👉🏼 Remember not to cover any of the openings of the fan while it is turned on. Preferably keep it on a small tool or on the floor away from windows.☹️ The power cord length is very short and this is a drawback for me.👌🏼 It’s a Value For Money product from Bajaj.💰 Power Consumption (check image for details): Total running cost of one 2kW heater for 6 hours a day for a month of 31 days if Cost Per Unit is Rs. 7 = 496 * 7 = Rs. 3472Remember, this is the upper limit that I have considered, the actual running cost might be slightly lower as most of the heaters have a thermostat which will limit operation and act as duty cycle limiter and it will use less than the full 100% energy even though it uses 2000 watts when heating.🔥 NOTE: The coil turns red almost appears as if it’s gonna catch fire If you keep the heater on at 2000W setting for longer than 2 hours. Not sure If it’s supposed to be this way, however no such thing occurs if you keep the heater on at 1000W setting.Overall it’s a good and safe product that I’ve been using since a year and I can recommend it. Just ensure that you check the Bajaj hologram, manufacturing date after you receive the product.
