Received the product with a small dent near the PTC fan grill. However, ignored it as it did not affect the performance. To my surprise, the product failed to make me happy. I use an ordinary table top fan type room heater where the room heats up in a couple of hours. In this product, ever after switching it on for nearly 5 hours did not yeild such results. The area surrounding the heater only was heated. Powering it on for such long duration also increases my power bill without even heating the room, that too paying a premium price for the underperformed product. In contrast, the fan type table top heater is far better as it reduces my power consumption, heats the room and also the initial cost is less. Have initiated for return and planning to buy smaller, less expensive, more economical table top type-fan room heater, for all the rooms in the same cost this product. 2 reduced starts for the same reason.

So the delivery was smooth and quick. The product does what it promises. My room becomes warm in 30 to 40 minutes and then I lower the power. It makes the winters in Delhi bearable. Howver, if you have been using a blower or halogen etc., mind you this will give you subtler experience. It maintains a normal room temperature, which is good enough. See, at the end of the day one does not want to feel cold and not start sweating etc. and this machine does the job. Of course this one is good for health too.

This product can be termed with different names as oil-filled heater, oil-filled radiator, column heater or simply oil heater.There are few reasons behind buying this:1. It is silent to use.2. No fear of fire or damage like normal heaters.3. Most important is no oxygen burning which creates suffocation in the room.4. No blowing of high speed air like “heat convectors” which makes me uneasy when sitting little far from it as the hot air gets cooled down till it reaches me.5. Less or no maintenance cost.6. It is very sturdy and beautiful to be kept in room.3. It comes with the casters that can dismantled very easy to repack after winters.4. It has 2 knobs (One for 3 heat settings or power settings and another one for temperature setting “thermostat”) and one power switch.5. Power cord can be easily coiled in the front and there is a socket also to plug the plug.6. Packing of Havells as well as of Amazon was above the mark. Received my order before expectation, was nicely delivered. Product paint coating and finish is very premium, easy to use, it’s rollers makes it easy to move around. Drawback is neither it heats the room very quickly nor heats up too much, many a times in extreme winters u enjoy sitting beside a heater that fun u can’t enjoy with this, but the best part is it’s very safe if you have kids in your house it won’t burn a child even if he touches the heater fins.
