Samsung 244L RT28T3523S8/HL is a good choice for people who like to experiment with innovative features. The Samsung 275L 2-star model, RT30T3722S8/HL, is also available at the same price. The 255L 3-star RR26T389YUT/HL costs about Rs 6,000 less, but it doesn’t come with Curd Maestro.

It is a 3* refrigerator with special feature of curd making and storage. Will update the review after experiencing the same. Will also update the power consumption experience after one month. There is little humming sound and slight vibration. But, not as much as my earlier single door fridge which was almost like a generator.Meanwhile pls avoid buying these large appliances online till Amazon India learns how to deliver these without damage. Returned a damaged item, but again got a damaged item as replacement. It pains a lot to use a new item which is damaged. Very important lesson that we should buy these from nearby shops who ensure proper delivery without damage.

Got it delivered 2 days before the promised date.1. Delivery: was hassle free but the cartoon was torn from some places. My rating – 3/5.2. Cooling : Cooling is super fast, satisfied. My rating – 4.5/53. Energy efficiency: As it is rated 3 star should be good, can’t say right now. My rating – 4/5.4. Storage capacity is quite less, should be sufficient for a family of 3-4 people. If you are expecting of good capacity then should go for 260 -280L or above. My rating – 3/5.5. Features: It has a digital display and a button on the door to toggel the desired temperature. And one in the deep freezer. In my opinion one more toggle should have been provided for the normal compartment.Has an alert mechanism which starts beeping when you keep the door open for too long abd starts blinking the lights if we keep open for too much time. My rating – 3.5/5.5. Demo by the Samsung technician: The Technician arrived very next day of delivery and i am fully satisfied by the demo provided , he followed good safety rulea by wearing masks and maintaining social distancing, provided me complete demo. It’s a perfectly good refrigerator but there are three issues…1) The shelves are on the thicker side, taking up more space. And though pictures show that the user would get a lot of space but after storing a few items, the refrigerator was full.2) After turning on the refrigerator for the first time, it took a really long time to cool, like almost 16-18 hours. But once cooled, it works very well.3) The two small shelves to store eggs is between two long shelves. The problem is the height. There is a lot of space wasted as the height of the egg shelves is substantial. While the height of the shelves to store bottles is too little. India largely being a hot country, we would like to store more bottles of water and that too bottles that hold at least one litre of water. It’s tough to do so.On a positive note, the chiller is spacious and it helps that the ice tray is a separate, removable chamber. The refrigerator is well built and is just about enough for a family of three to four members.
