LG’s 1.5 ton window air conditioner has a 5-star energy rating, making it one of the most efficient air conditioners on the market. It has a dual inverter compressor with a variable speed dual rotary motor which saves more energy while also increasing cooling capacity.
The latest R32 refrigerant gas is environment-friendly and makes sure you are not contributing to heating while staying cool.

cools very fast, works on max 1650 watts, gets down after room is cooled.5 star dual inverter AC with modern design at this price is awesome.You can also connect it through wifi and control or monitor using LG ThinkQ app.Edit1: Once you switch to Sleep mode, the power consumption goes down up to only 0.38 kW.

Started looking into options to buy from last 1 month, normally buying big appliances online has its own concern.Let me review in categories I used to choose my AC1) Online or Local ShopThere are couple of sellers on amazon with some 700-800 price difference, it got me more confused. I chose to buy from a seller with better rating. I was in no mood to get into hassle of return and fixes. Its my personal choice however one can easily further save. Online prices are atleast saving you 5k , for reference the same Model in Vijay S* is availble for 42K, LG local shop asked for 38K. I would have bought from Local shop if price difference was max 1K2) AC Price:From Window AC perspective its a a costly one3) Star Rating : 5*I have always bought 5* AC, think if you run it 8hrs for more than 2 seasons you will match the price difference of 3* AC. I maynt recommend 3* LG inverter AC4) User RatingThis AC so far has good rating and reviews, I personally liked one where its explained around the dimension and Air flow not hitting you directly.I personally dont like AC air hitting directly. Try playing FAN @1 speed with AC for pleasant experience5) BrandI had to choose between Voltas, & LG. Reminds me of the 1st generation ACs we used to have, back in the 90s…similar design.It’s way too quiet for a window AC, does the job, can’t complain about the LG Compressor cooling prowess.Will connect to Wifi after following some steps and installing the LG ThinQ app..Beware, this doesn’t have a swing, which I think is not reqd in this design, since the flow covers the whole area.

This AC by far is the best WINDOW AC you can get at the moment. It is MADE IN THAILAND.The LG app makes the AC even better, you can track all from energy consumption to filter management..The energy consumption of this AC is awesome… the screenshot says it all!40H operational time at 25C – 19.8 units @ 7rs./unitThats 138rs. for 40HCooling is excellent, the WiFi is good… you need to install the LG Thinq app that guides you how to get the Wifi on.I want to say the installation team from LG were amazing.They came to fix the AC the same day it arrived.They charged 500 + gst(18%) and left. No hidden charges/nothing. Just honest installation, they wore all protective shoe covers. It nice to see LG is taking our country current situation with COVID very seriously.LG = LIFE IS GOOD totally agree!Anyone wanting to upgrade your window ac, go for this… you will not be disappointed!Lastly this is a review based on my exp in GREATER NOIDA, UP.Others exp. may be different due to locations.Thanks again AMAZON/LG

Amazon Delivery (20 Apr 21) – 5 Star.1. On time2. Without any external damage (I have never received damaged goods till date)Installation – 5 Star1. Timely. Same Day2. NeatPerformance – 2 star (can be better or downgraded further after further use)1. The AC worked very well as claimed by LG.2. A power cut at night happened around 17th May (may not be the exact date). Thereafter, AC stopped working on the 25C that it was always set at & used. I would start on 25C but within about 1-2 mins just shut down completely.3. We set the AC at 24. It worked perfectly like before (but not on 25C) !4. Then around 22 May, a power cut off happened at night. We switched off the AC.5. Next day onward, the AC would not work on 25 or 24. If set at these temp, the AC would shut down within a couple of mins.6. Since then we have been using it at 23 and the AC is working perfectly.7. We waited for a few days to see if things would go back to normal. Finally made a complaint to LG on 27 May (call recorded). No call back has happened as on 30 May 4 pm.I find this very strange as other ACs of other companies do not have any issue. I am awaiting LG to address and explain what could have happened and to fix it. I am aware of the Covid situation and limited staffing, hence I do not mind the delay in addressing this strange issue.I will update this post as and when additional information is there. I will also address the overall rating of 2 Stars based on the outcome and performance.2 June 21 Update :Last night the power went off for just a bit. When it came back, the AC would not work on the 23 !! We then were forced to put it on 22.Conclusion as of now : If the power goes when the AC is working, it will stop working on that Temp when the power cut happened. This is the strangest experience in over 3 decades of using multiple ACs of various brands. I have to call LG as no visit or call back has happened.12 Sep 21 Update.Well no call back from LG has ever happened. However, accidentally discovered a couple of things.1. If in a power cut area, Do Not use the ‘Energy Saver’ mode. If you do, you will face the problem described above. By default, the AC functions on Energy Saver mode when switched On. So you would need to put it on ‘Dry Cooling’. Under ‘Dry Cooling’ mode, the AC comes back on even if there are multiple power cuts.2. If by chance ‘Energy Saver’ is used and the power goes off, switch it to Dry Cooling. Afterwards (I did not time the duration…), you can switch it back to ‘Energy Saver’ – and to the temperature that you were using it in when the power cut happened.I think LG should pay me for discovering this. For their Manual does not mention this either.

Hi there, I hardly write reviews but writing this save your money.The AC is absolute delight to use, using wifi to setup timers, schedules and pre-start your AC before reaching home is a life saver during Delhi heat but the only thing you need to know is that you need to install it at a window which is not more than 3-4 feet.Please remember that you can not install it the window which is located at top the your door because it is designed in such a say that the if installed at a height of more than 4 feet then the air vents can not reach the surface beneath it.Like your bed, if install at a place where usually Split ACs are installed then this can not throw air directly to your bed which in turn will make you turn temperature to even lower digits (20-22 degrees) and which will eventually make you burn more electricity and your money.I would like to repeat that AC is perfect to operate and cools like a breeze but you need to keep in mind the space where it needs to be installed.The only problem is the height at which it is installed.

It was delivered yesterday(26th May 2020) and I got it installed in an hour .This (WiFi) window (DUAL INVERTER) AC is fantastic . Salute to the engineer & the designer. I am handling it with my mobile supported with “LG ThinQ” app exclusively for this AC. It’s too good.There is nothing you can find any fault. During this lockdown , I was little apprehensive to decide and buy this particular AC bcoz I was adment to buy split AC but now I am thinking , I am Lucky that I bought this WiFi AC . Before deciding & ordering , I read all the reviews and then only I decided to buy this wonderful window AC . Although it seems little costly being window AC , but gentlemen , you will not regret once it is ON & YOU are inside your room. My house is a single story house in Jaipur without fasle ceiling and still this AC made my life cool.Sincere advice : if you are planning to buy AC , just go for it. You will never regret . जयहिंद !
